Day 1

  • Arrival in Cairo by transport.

Day 2

  • Visit the Great Pyramid of Giza, the Sphinx, and capture photos of these iconic landmarks.

Day 3

  • Visit the Egyptian Museum, the Hanging Church, and Khan El Khalili Market.

Day 4

  • Excursion to the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx. Return to Cairo.

Day 5

  • Visit Luxor Temple, Valley of the Kings, and board a cruise to Aswan.


Day 6

  • Continue the cruise to Edfu Temple, Kom Ombo Temple, and sail to Aswan.

Day 7

  • Explore Aswan, including the Philae Temple and the Aswan High Dam. Enjoy a boat ride on the Nile River.

Day 8

  • Morning boat ride on the Red Sea (floating activity). Return to Cairo in the afternoon.

Day 9

  • Departure from Cairo, return to Hong Kong.

1.Weather:

Egypt has a desert climate with high temperatures. Summer (May to October) sees daytime highs of 35°C to 40°C, while nights are cooler, around 20°C to 25°C. Winter (November to April) brings milder days of 20°C to 25°C and chilly nights, with temperatures dropping to 10°C to 15°C.


2.Time Difference:

Egypt operates on Eastern European Time (EET, UTC+2), 6 hours behind Hong Kong. There is no daylight saving time.


3.Cuisine:

Egyptian cuisine includes grains, vegetables, and legumes, with popular dishes featuring beans, lamb, and beef. Egyptian desserts like baklava and basbousa are very popular. Local teas and coffees are also worth trying.


4.Language:

Arabic is the official language.


5.Currency:

The Egyptian pound (EGP) is the local currency; major international currencies like USD and EUR are often accepted in tourist areas.
