"Greater Bay Area City Exploration Tour" (2023/24) Student Mainland Exchange Program R1: Shenzhen Aviation and Technology Exploration Tour

On April 12, 2024, students from Kwun Tong Government Primary School participated in a one-day exploration tour in Shenzhen. The purpose of this tour was to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the modern facilities and operational efficiency of Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, and to explore the applications of technology in contemporary society.


Morning: Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport Tour

Students first visited Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport, learning about its critical role as an international aviation hub. Through a guided tour, they explored the airport's architectural design, advanced logistics technology, and passenger service facilities, comparing the operational models and mutual cooperation between Hong Kong and Shenzhen airports.

Afternoon: Shenzhen Science Museum Exploration

In the afternoon, the students visited Shenzhen Science Museum, engaging in a deep dive into scientific education. They participated in interactive exhibits and watched 3D dynamic technology films, experiencing the principles of science and the forefront applications of technology. This activity aimed to enhance students' interest and understanding in STEAM education, igniting their passion for exploring scientific mysteries.

This one-day learning tour provided students with a thorough understanding of Shenzhen's aviation industry and offered hands-on experiences in technological development.
