From June 29 to July 6, 2024, students fromThe Yuen Yuen Institute MFBM Nei Ming Chan Lui Chung Tak Memorial College participated in a rich and insightful cultural and academic exchange tour covering Dalian, Lushun, and Dandong. The tour aimed to deepen students' understanding of the rich history and modern development of Northeast China.
Multicultural Exchange
The first stop was Dalian, where students visited Northeast Finance University and engaged in academic exchanges with local students, discussing various perspectives on economics. They then traveled to Lushun, visiting the Lushun Museum and Lushun Naval Port, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the military and cultural background of this historic city.
Witnessing History and Reflecting on Peace
In Dandong, students visited the Memorial Hall of the War to Resist U.S. Aggression and Aid Korea. This visit was not only a review of historical events but also inspired deep reflections on the consequences of peace and conflict. Additionally, they explored the Hushan Great Wall and the Broken Bridge on the Yalu River, experiencing the geographical and historical significance of the China-North Korea border.
Harmony Between Nature and Urban Development
In Dalian, students visited the Natural History Museum and Xinghai Square, showcasing Dalian's charm as a modern city while reflecting the balance between urban development and environmental protection. Through field visits, students gained a deeper understanding of the interaction between urban development and ecological protection.
Cultural Diversity and Integration
In the final days of the journey, students experienced the exotic culture of Russian Style Street and the romantic atmosphere of Venice Water City. These activities not only enriched their cultural experiences but also allowed them to witness the integration and development of cultural diversity in modern cities.

This eight-day academic exchange tour provided students with not only a wealth of historical knowledge but also a deeper understanding and respect for different cultures.
